Hootenanny

A Gathering for Young Adults Living With Chronic Illness & Pain

What if you could spend a couple of hours around people who just get it?

Come join us for the very first Hootenanny. A casual morning gathering for young adults living with chronic illness and pain.

We’ll gather at Edwards Greenhouse for tea, plants, conversation, and a little space to simply slow down and be human together.

There’s no expectation to share your story, talk about your health, or show up feeling any particular way. You can come chat, listen, wander through the plants, sip your coffee, or just exist alongside people who understand that living in an unpredictable body can be lonely.

We’ll have a few optional prompts to help us get to know one another, including a chance to explore:

What do you need most right now?
How can our community support you?

There will also be something fun thrown into the mix because community shouldn't only be about talking about what's hard. We’re here to practice enjoying life, too.

***Accessibility Note: Edwards Greenhouse is wheelchair accessible.
